It is about a million degrees here in New York! Last night we went to a taping of Jimmy Fallon, it was really fun. The band on the show (Roots) were amazing, I may have to get their albulm. I also bought supplies for some headbands im going to make, beautiful feathers and bands. I picked up some new shades as well, the guy at the glasses store said I look like Chloe Sevigny, I thought it was a compliment but I'm not sure if he did.... Anyways these are my new glasses!

I just landed in NYC today! Its so hot here but I love it. Today we checked out the Hells Kitchen Flea Market where there was lots of jewelery. My mum got a hat pin and I got a turquoise ring.

At the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts there is currently an exhibit called Inspiria, which features the house of Boucheron's collection inspired by the Cirque du Soliel. The collection feautred in the exhibit was shown at Milan Fashion Week.

Sex should stay IN THE CITY

So the other night I went and saw SATC 2, and was extremely disappointed. I don't know if it was the storyline (or lack there of) or the politically incorrect Abu Dhabi experience, but my favorite foursome did not meet my expectations. The clothing however, was the about the only magical thing about the entire movie. That and of course Liza Minnelli's 'Single Ladies' performance.
Carrie is no longer feeling the 'sparkle' with Mr Big, but the amount of sparkle in her shoe collection should undoubtedly make up for this loss. Anyway, after Samantha is offered a free trip to Abu Dhabi (still not 100% sure why...) she brings her fab four along for the ride. Thank God once witty, sarcastic, career driven Miranda spontaneously decides to quit the law firm of which she is partner, and is now filled with freedom and a new perky outlook on life. Charlotte who is hesitant to leave her children behind, due to the fact her youngest, Rose, (who should really be named Damien) won't stop misbehaving and causing her grief. This poor child's debut as an actress leaves her looking like a possessed mix between Harry and an Abu Dhabi native. Nothing really important happens while they're on vacation, except for Carrie running into Aiden, which you think is important, but in the end really isn't.
I won't ruin the film, but the girls finally return to the Big Apple after Samantha is punished and kicked out of the Middle Eastern hotel for doing the one thing she loves- men.
Anyways, if you haven't seen it yet- I will visually highlight the only worthwhile parts and save you your 12 bucks.

I bought this top today on Canal Street after my sister and I were locked in a van with knock-off Coach and Chanel bags. Why does this seem to happen every time I am here! Only $20! At Marc Jacobs I got a biography/memoir about him. Even though they had a 70% off sale clothes were still pricey!
